Fred Schilling Obituary

Schilling, Fred Of Waukesha, born January 23, 1928, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 17, 2011, and began his final journey to Heaven to be with Mary, his loving wife of 50 years. Loving father of Michael (Kris) and Alan (Bambi) Schilling. Dear grandpa of Jennifer (James) Connelly and Amy Lagunero. Proud great-grandpa to Abby and Joey Connelly and Jasmine Lagunero. Further survived by brother Claude (the late Joan) and sister Carol (Eric) Freisleben, other relatives and friends. Fred served in the U.S. Navy in the 1940s. By trade he was a carpenter and had built numerous homes in the Milwaukee area. In later years, he worked as an expediter, over seeing the construction of various apartment complexes and commercial buildings in the Milwaukee and Waukesha area. Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 9:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, at ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park. The family would like to especially thank the staff at Seasons Hospice for their compassionate care and comfort given to Fred.
