Gail, I will always cherish the time we spent together. From high school, to more recent times.
You will always hold a special place in my heart and soul.
You were beautiful in and out and always went out of your way to put a smile on anyone's face.
Through it all, you held your head up high. Now RIP my sweet angel.
Enjoy and be at peace on your eternal highway cruise in the heavens.
Love and miss you Smiley

I worked with Gail at Ace.
She was smart, always smiling, and happy to see you. She spoke lovingly of her daughters. I was shocked today to hear of her passing and to her family I am very sorry for your loss. I will miss her.

I am deeply saddened to have lost my dear friend of 28 years, Gail Blankenheim Eckert, to her long battle with cancer. We dated in late 1986-87 and had been friends throughout the years. Our birthdays were 10 days apart. I never missed calling or sending a birthday card all these years. She was only 45 and will be truly missed by many but especially by her two beautiful young daughters, Jessica & Sara. Our prayers are with you Gail.

I attended Mary, Queen of Heaven grade school and, later, Nathan Hale High School with Gail. I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. When I think of Gail, I will always remember what fun we had together in Shorthand class at Hale. She had such a contagious laugh and we always had a good time together trying to decipher our own chicken scratch/ shorthand notes. Having her as my partner in that class is a memory that always brings a smile to my face.omething She made an otherwise boring class very fun. Gail was one of the good ones--a sweet person who always had a smile on her face and was kind to everyone. RIP Gail. The world was a better place with you in it, and I'm glad I was lucky enough to have known you.
