Florence Eckert Obituary
Florence graduated from FHS and went on to serve as the office administrator at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church for 38 years. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her lifelong membership and service at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church as well as her continual outpouring of love and service to her family and friends.
Florence and Kermit Eckert were married 61 years until his passing. She is survived by her son Brian K. Eckert and wife Mary of Fredericksburg, daughter-in-law Rhonda Eckert Simpson of Fredericksburg; 5 grandchildren, Chance Eckert and wife Ashleigh, Caden Eckert and wife Hope, Cullen Eckert and wife Melissa, Hailey Hoffmann and husband David, Gavin Eckert and wife Drue; brother Roy Klaehn and wife Debbie of Fredericksburg; sisters-in-law, Margaret Klaehn of Fredericksburg, Marjorie Otte of Stonewall and Opal Klaehn of Buda; as well as 5 great grandchildren. Arrangements under the direction of Fredericksburg Funeral Home. The service was at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, January 12th. Florence's burial was at The Eckert family Cemetery at Bear Creek. Memorials may be sent to the Holy Ghost Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
