Gary Koceja Obituary

Gary Mark Koceja

November 19, 1948 -

February 07, 2021

Gary passed away peacefully in his cabin in Crivitz Wisconsin surrounded by the beautiful nature he loved so much. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Elsie Johnson Koceja, and Father, Michael "Big Mike" Koceja, brother, Mike "J.R." Koceja, as well as by his incredibly special wife, Terry "Chee Chee" Koceja (nee Kapitz).

Survived by his son, Thomas Koceja (Sarah) and his grandchildren, Charlie and Sydney as well as by his daughter, Sarah Housey and his grandchildren, Rebecca, Kellen, Georgia, Harrison, and Carla.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

A special thanks to those friends who offered their support and loving care for him after the 2019 death of his beloved wife.

Gary used to work as a structural engineer for Rexnord and Harley Davidson. He received a degree from Marquette University. He was also a member of the Coast Guard Reserve and was called to serve in Operation Desert Storm. He was a great guy with a great sense of humor. At Gary's request, there will be no traditional services. He will be interred at St Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee. The next time you raise a glass, be sure to send Gary a toast.
