Two years have now passed since we lost Gene's earthly companionship. It seems so much longer than two years, though. So much has happened. I, for one, would have enjoyed having him nearby to help us navigate our way. I still give thanks to God for our wonderful friend. Perhaps a part of his heavenly joy is knowing that we miss him here on earth. Greetings of peace to Karen and Gene's family.

We are saddened to hear about the passing of Deacon Gene. Our sons were altar servers at MQH, we ushered at mass and we all remember him fondly. Our deepest sympathies to Karen and his family.

My prayers and sympathy for Gene, his family and friends. I worked with Gene in the drug wholesaling business a couple of decades ago and he was true friend and colleague.

We will miss and always have Gene in our great memories of being part of Pipco and the fun times and work on the board. We still have the spray mask he provided for us just in case Diane's stories were to funny. He was a great and admirable man who I loved and respected in his professional and personal life. He was a very inspirational man and touched our hearts greatly.

Deacon Gene was a deacon and man so deeply committed to the life of the heart. As a priest, I was often inspired by conversations we had about church, about ministry, about family and friends. I remain grateful for what Gene contributed to the journey of life. Rest in peace and joy, dear Deacon.

Gene has been a special friend since the day we first met 40 years ago at a bowling alley. Our friendship and love have grown over all these wonderful years. Gene was instrumental in helping Steve with his transition for which I will be forever grateful. Friend, Deacon, loved, brother-husband, will be sorely missed. He left an indelible mark on my heart. Love to Karen and the children as they navigate life without a great husband and father.

Karen,
I have never met a business person with more integrity than Gene.
It was a real privilege to be associated with Pipco and see the passion Gene had for the church and for pharmacies.
You, Tracie and family are in my prayers.
