Dear Chris and sons, Mrs. H., and Jacque, please accept our deepest sympathy.
Chris, I'm so happy we had the opportunity to have dinner with the two of you in Vero. We had not had the chance to sit and chat for so long. George was so excited about his family, his work and his travels. He had such an infectious smile and always that mischievous twinkle in his eye.
We will remember him in cut-offs, shirt without sleeves and sandals and smiling, having fun and loving you all.
We will see him again.
with love, John and Marsha Scharr

George will be remembered most by me for the laughs he gave my wife and their mother. It is great that those memories will never die and will bring them further joys in the future. That is a great legacy.

A few short weeks, my daughter and I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Chris and George as dinner guests in their home. The occasion was a happy one - my oldest daughter is dating George and we had many laughs, great food, and wonderful conversation. I came away from that experience knowing I had met some truly wonderful people and I cannot imagine the sense of loss George's family is going through at this time. You all are constantly in my thoughts and prayers and I thank you, Palmer family, for having had the opportunity to meet George.

It was a true pleasure to know George. When he spoke about his family, work or leisure time his expression was always the same. One of pure joy. He lived his life to the fullest and I feel privileged to have known him. He will be sorely missed
