Geraldine Schuster Obituary

Schuster, Geraldine A. "Geri" (Née Grainer) 76, of Oconomowoc, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at AngelsGrace Hospice with her family and friends by her side. Geri is survived by her sons Kurt (Dawn) Schuster, Mark Schuster and daughter Lori Arnold and brother Jim (Kay) Grainer. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to Holli (Levi) Merrill, Jacob Schuster, Andi Schuster, Evan Schuster, Nina Arnold, Shana (Matthew) Stark, Molli Hoban, Joey Folk, Neviah Stark and Rhema Stark. Geri is also survived by her special friend Andy Anderson along with many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Don and daughter Doni Jo Hoban. Geri ran the family plumbing business in Oconomowoc from 1964 until her retirement in 1998. With emphasis on family first, a tradition started in 1968 through 1971 of camping every weekend in the summer. A family cottage was purchased on Lake Puckaway in 1972 where family weekends took place for the next 42 years. Geri enjoyed entertaining her family and friends, traveling, especially to Hawaii for the last 32 years, gardening, cooking, sewing, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards with the ladies and spending time with her family. A celebration of Geri's life will take place at Pagenkopf Funeral Home in Oconomowoc on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at 7:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. Special thank you to the staff at AngelsGrace Hospice and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital for their care and support.
