I was in the class a year ahead of Glen. I remember playing on a great rec. league basketball team with Glen, Dave affeldt, Mark Raddatz and others. Glen was a good athlete and all around nice guy. He never lost his cool and was quick with a clever remark and a big grin. I know there's an old saying that only the good die young. This would certainly apply to Glen. my deepest sympathy goes out to Glen's family.

There are many, some rather foggy, but wonderful memories of Glenn. Yes, he was smart and a shrewd sheepshead player, and he used to make me so mad with his ability have the points counted before all the cards were all played. (How did he do that?) Besides his fun-loving spirit and generosity, Glenn was also a quiet source of understanding and compassion. I wish he could be with us now to let us know that everything will be OK. With deep sadness and love to all,

I have such fond memories of Glenn - hosting great parties until all hours of the morning, sheepshead and cribbage games, the Field House and more. He was generous and a fun loving man and I will always hold memories of him close to my heart. My sympathies are with all of you.

I will always remember Glen with fond memories. We became very close at Tosa East and he was always a true friend and great buddy.

Glen was very competitive and very smart. He was always trying to figure out a way to give our team an edge. Be it softball, basketball, tennis, or sheepshead. Glen was a pretty darn good athlete in his day.

Glen loved playing 5 handed sheepshead and whenever we were having trouble getting enough guys to play Glen would say { my dad has a fridge full of cold beer in the basement } and the game was on.

When we turned 18 we had a lot of fun triple dating at Glen's favorite watering hole the " Why Not " sipping on Hurricanes and sharing funny stories.

Glen, you will be remembered fondly and missed greatly.

Our prayers are with you.

God bless.

When I think of all the ways that Glenn influenced my life I am so thankful that I had him for a friend. Glenn was a real Renaissance Man. He taught me to be a first rate cribbage player, (don't break up a run) he shared with me his unique ability to be a generous host and make it seem effortless,(use the good stuff and keep the glasses full) and he made sure I had enough knowledge about the music that he loved to form my own opinions( Blodwyn Pig is not a type of flu). He had so much to share and made the world better just by being in it. I am so sad and sorry.
Thanks for the memories Glenn, no doubt, you are at the Big Party in the sky.
lots of love,

Glen was a very generous and gracious host with a great sense of humor and irony. Glen had a great ear for music and was one of the most innovative athletes, and gifted mathematician, I have ever met. May God bless you Glen, and happy trails.

I met Glenn at Tosa east and we have been friends ever since. I will never forget all the great times. Sheepshead, 4th of July, Packer games at County Stadium. We got together after many opening days and played dice at the Fieldhouse. Glenn was very smart and always had a smile for everyone. He was a great athlete back in the day, and I loved playing softball with him at the Pig Farm. I remember telling him he was driving the Lincoln too fast on a snowy night. Glenn said, "we could hit a tree at 50 mph in this thing an not get hurt". As usual he was right, because we did and walked the rest of the way to the Renner house. Too much to say, I will miss him.

Glenn always had a smile on his face. He loved to make his friends laugh. When I reflect on the 25 plus years we played softball at the old "Pig Farm," Glenn dominated with shots down the right field line. And then there were post-game Peachka Shots to celebrate at Dana's Fieldhouse. Glenn was a wonderful guy. I will miss his smiling face and sense of humor.

Glenn was a great friend to Terry and me. He was a giving person and always fun to be around. We have awesome memories of Glenn--4th of July parties at his house with treacherous walks down the ravine, sheepshead games where he took all my money and many, many years of softball games with him. Glenn was the smartest person I ever met. Terry and I will definitley miss him!

My memories of Glenn go way back as a kid growing up, as I was always welcomed at his 4th of July parties. Then I was able to join the softball team and games of Wall Ball. Thus the fun of Taco Night at The Fieldhouse and other fun times. Glenn will be truly missed - god bless him in his journey.
