Gordon Corris Obituary

Corris, Gordon F. Reunited with his beloved wife Eleanore (nee Reetz) on December 28, 2010, age 88 years. Loving father of Susie (Ron) Zellmer, Merrisue (Dane McFall) Corris and Lucy (his cat). Further survived by his loving "sisters" Elaine, Elizabeth and Jeanette. Preceded in death by brothers-in-law Ray, Mike, Ewald, Eddie, Willie and Everette. Also survived by his cousin Jerry (Joanne) Hayes, two half brothers Leslie and Brian, his half sister Patricia, and nieces and nephews. Gordon will also be missed by his extended Zellmer family. Memorial Service Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 12 noon, at the WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK FAMILY CENTER WEST CHAPEL, 12875 W. Capitol Dr. Visitation Saturday at the Family Center Chapel from 11:00AM until time of service. Gordon dedicated 6 years of his life serving his country in the Navy during WWII. He graduated from Marquette University and had a long career in the retail industry until his retirement at age 70. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at LindenGrove - Mukwonago and Home and Hospice Advantage. If desired, memorials appreciated for the Wisconsin Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
