Gregory Lauer Obituary

Lauer, Gregory N. Formerly of Menomonee Falls, November 29, 2011, age 93 years. Beloved husband for 69 years of Jane "Janie" (nee Gerbyshak). Loving father of Carol (Allen) Kazmierczak, Marie (John) Cogar, Betty (Jay) Lauck, Michael (Gail), Barbara (Dennis) Wanless and Eileen Lauer. Proud grandpa of Kristin, Brian, Kevin, Dan, Beth, Sara, Laura, Kim, Courtney, Mike, Scott, Marie and Conor. Dear great-grandpa of Maggie, Drew, Kara, Katie and Evan. Preceded in death by his siblings, Art, LaVerne, Irenus, Irene, Elmer and Kenneth. Further survived by other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 5, at 10AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave. Menomonee Falls (MEET AT CHURCH). Entombment St. Mary's Mausoleum. Visitation Sunday 1-4PM with a Prayer Service at 3:30PM, AT THE FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Mary's Parish or the charity of your choice. Greg was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Parish and former owner of Haasch Appliance. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He possessed a strong sense of faith and helped with many projects at St. Mary's throughout his life. He served as a usher, Eucharistic Minister and was on various committees over the years. Greg's love of nature and birds was evident in all of the beautiful gardens and bird feeders he maintained at home. By example, he taught his children the value of hard work and determination. His quiet strength will forever be remembered.
