I am still somewhat speechless at the fact that he is transitioned because his Life and example was so dominant and emboldening that it somehow made people believe it was supposed to last forever. It makes me realize that the only way it can and should is through his impression on us and our actions to push the causes that he did. Until your return in another form and at another time we garner strength from your memory to keep going. Return in Power

On April 28th, I attended an art show by local artist Evelyn Terry. A young woman approached me and asked me if I remembered her. I didn't, but I said I did. It was then she recalled our time at the Journal, we laughed about old times. "Do you remember Greg Stanford?" , she asked. I said yes. "You know, he passed away." I froze. Not Greg. Maybe she meant someone else.
When I arrived home I searched the computer and found It was true. I am heartbroken. He was a gentleman. Kind. Thoughtful, and an Inspiration. I will always remember he and Cynthia and their hospitality during the holiday all those years ago.
Last time my husband and I saw him he said that he was writing a book. " The Book Of Gregory Stanford" is priceless. We feel Blessed to have known him.

When we have lost a love one in death, it causes more stress or headache than the death of a mate, relative, or a dear friend.
We have learned "that death is the most obviously permanent and extreme form of loss."
"Two are better than one...For if one of them falls, the other can help his partner up." - Ecclesiastes 4:9,10
