After all these years I went to Google and brought up Gretchen's name. Couldn't believe she came up in the obituary. So many memories of good times in Mequon, Friday night fish fries, social gatherings. So sorry to hear of your loss. She was one of my favorite friends in WI.

Bob, Betsy and Sarah:
So sorry to hear about Gretchen's passing. Even though it has been a while since I have seen any of you, her death is deeply saddening and my thoughts are with you at this tough time. Gretchen was a woman who seemed to have a positive effect on everyone she interacted with and I have nothing but good memories of her since I met her so many years ago.
I want to express my condolences for your loss and hope that you have savored many good memories of Gretchen that can last you a lifetime. I am not sure that I can make it to the memorial service this weekend but I look forward to our paths crossing in the future whenever that may be.

I just heard about Gretchen's passing from my daughter Mary and I am SO sad for all of you. Many happy memories of being a Scout leader with Gretchen when we lived in Mequon are all good. She was a creative lady who was so much fun to be with and a wonderful wife and mother. She will be missed by many. Tony and I send our sincere condolences and love to you Bob and Betsy and Sarah.
