I met Cary through a special friend, Audrey Gallery, and always enjoyed her company and conversation at The Saddle & Cycle Club, especially at Christmas & Easter. My sincere condolences to her sister, Ann, and the entire family.

My mother worked with Cary at Northern Trust many years ago, and their frienship endured until she passed away a few years ago. My sympathy to her family at this difficult time.

As a Downer classmate of Cary's, I knew I only had to make one phone call to find out the current news about our class. It was to Cary who seemed to be in touch with many of them. She was generous of spirit and remained a good friend for more than 60 years. I will miss her greatly.
