I was very saddened to hear about Chip's passing, and I send my deep condolences to his family. Chip and I played hockey together at UVM, and he was one of the best players I have ever seen. Far more important was his strength of character and leadership; he led by example both on and off the ice. I owe my well being to Chip and Jim Klode as I found myself in the opposing William's College team's locker room after the game trying to take on one of the Rowe brothers from MInn who had knocked out my front teeth. Fortunately they rescued me in time! We also had family attachments to beer in common as he and Chris had Schlitz , and I was a descendant of Adolphus Busch from Anheuser -Busch. Chip will be missed greatly, and I will always carry fond memories of him in my heart. Warm regards, Curt Tobey UVM 1968 (203-856-5772; [email protected]

To my loving and dear family, my heart extends to the loss of your brother and father, Chip Uihlein. Wherever success and progress in my life takes me, I will always remember, Chip and the Uihlein family as my building block.
Love Always For Life,
Cliff Cooper
P.S. I'm sure Chip would have been happy to
know that I achieved my B.A. Degree in
Business with a 3.8 GPA.
Love Always and Thank You,
Cliff Cooper

Like the rest of the Uihlein family, they always gave you a pat on the back and a Thank You for a job well done, and take the time to walk around and say hello no matter who you were and what dept you worked it. It is still the best people I have ever worked for and with. My condolensces to the Jennifer,Marnie,Richard,Phil, and Christopher on their great loss. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless!!

Chip, way too soon, but our maker only knows the answers. I'm sure glad we rekindle our friendship over the last several years having lunch with you, Lads and Rolfe.
