Dear Grace and entire family...
I just recently learned that Herb was failing. I remember what a "classy" gentleman he always was.
I'm sorry I didn't know of his passing until just recently. I know what a void his passing will be in your lives. My sympathies to all of you...!

Dear Grace and Family,
Gary and I have very fond memories of our friend Herb. He was such a funny man with an awesome sense of humor and a lovely heart.
We are honored to have spent some time with him and hear him speak of his faith and love for God.
He will always be remembered fondly.

Herb was a delight to work with over the years. His concern for his clients was extraordinary and he had a great ability to "gently nudge" people into action.
I imagine Herb sitting at the heavenly roundtable, writing upside down on his legal pad.....
Our condolences to Grace and the rest of the family.

I have many fond memories as a child spend with "Herb" and his family. The last time I saw him was at my Dads funeral. I am very sad to hear of his death. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Grace and family,
We are so sorry to hear of Herb's passing. We have missed you from CUMC. I will never forget the countless hand written notes and cards Herb sent to Bill while Bill was recovering from his stroke. His words were always encouraging to Bill and he enjoyed his conversations with Herb over his hunting adventures too.
We will keep you all in our prayers during this tough time of adjusting to life without Herb.
