Our sympathies to the Bordow family. Our family was often in Children's Court with foster children. Ira was one of the people who truly cared about the children and wasn't afraid to advocate for them. He was kind and gentle and truly respected. We thank him for all of his help and will miss him. This is a huge loss to the system.

I will miss seeing Ira at work. He always took the time to speak a kind word. Sometimes he would show photos of his children and talk about how bright they are. It was clear he adored them. We all lost a great friend and kind man and wonderful father, We consider Ira one of our best friends and wish I could have done more for him while he was a live, I was at his funeral and I was amazed by the 100 or more people who showed up, to say there final goodbye I really wish Ira could have seen how many people cared about, I don't think he realized how loved he was.
