Well earned peace
Vietnam gathering in Green Bay, WI.
April 27, 2016
Jim , Shirley and I miss you. Your presence made the world a little brighter. First dad, Walter K. Behrendt, dying on October 11, 1994, then mom, Rose Annette Papa Behrendt on January 7, 2002 it was hard. Thomas W. Behrendt, your son who passed away in 2012 was extremely hard on all of us. We can only hope they are in a better, happier place. They worked in the grocery store together. Enjoyed fishing , especially hunting and life in general. Tom branched out to New York living in Brooklyn and working at various capacities, he eventually worked at the Central Park in NEW YORK which he liked. He liked to sing. Jim, your life was full of bumps along the way but they made you a more interesting person. Jim , you were a special person , your brother Richard "Dick" Paul Behrendt

I came to know Jim when we both worked at Time Insurance/Fortis. He then went on to do exceptional matting and framing work. I still have prints he put together for me. Awhile ago I ran into him and he shared a gorgeous pen had made. Jim & I always shared a laugh when we saw each other. He was tough on the exterior but really a teddy bear. I know MaryAnn and his boys meant the world to him. My sincere sympathy to you.
