Dear Eileen and family,
Our deepest condolences to all. We wish we could have been there to be part of the celebration of his life. He and all of you were and are very special to us even tho we are so far away. We will never forget his humor and love of life and his family. We are all a little better off having had him be part of our lives.

It was always a joy to visit with the Cauley's at home builder events. Eileen was always patient while Jim would tell one of his many stories! I have missed both of you the last few years and was fortunate to get to know a wonderful person. Mom and Dad are in Florida and send there best wishes as well. It was a great blessing to meet you and Jim in our Bear Lake "work" and your support when Steve was in Iraq was so truly appreciated. Jim was such a proud veteran and we were so proud of him in his many works. Dear Cauley Family,
I sure wish I could have been at the "celebration" the last 2 days. I am sorry for your loss and hope and pray you have sweet memories and much gratitude for a Dad and husband who was there with you a very long time. Praise God he is no longer suffering in the hospital.
I remember all the fun times I had at your home while I was a small town gal who got to visit her aunt and uncle and cousins in the big city. I also remember babysitting for you kids and feeling very much a part of your family. I say thanks to Jim and to Eileen for all the good food and love that was given to me.

I have such happy memories of working with Jim on the UDC code council. He was such a sweetheart - knowledgable and always fighting for the good of the building industry - but compassionate and kind at the same time. He will be missed by us all here at WBA!

Jim was certainly an inspiration for how to age gracefully. He was always feisty but maintained his great sense of humor and decency. We could use him on the Council today.
