James Decker Obituary

Decker, James P "Jim" Reunited with his unit on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Age 84. Beloved father of Tracy (David) Dietz and David Decker. Grossvater of Eva Dietz and had his best buddy Cisco the cat. Further survived by other relatives and friends. A military burial service at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove on Wednesday, November 30 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. Jim proudly served his country in the Army from 1949 - 1952 in Korea seeing combat operations as a Tank Commander with the Second Infantry Division and serving in the Air Force from 1954 - 1958. He was able to participate in the life changing "Ultimate Experience" of the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight last month. Jim was the PR Director for the Milwaukee Admirals in their early years, a member of the Tuesday Club at Manheim Auto Auction and a lifetime member of the West Allis Bowmen .

He was buddies after the war in Korea with my dad, thomas Richards. He was thinking of him and wasn't sure if he was still around. Deepest condolences.
