James R. Eichholz

Of Brookfield, Wisconsin, born May 5, 1944, died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on July 26, 2021 at the age of 77.

James is survived by his beloved children James (Amy), Christine (Jim), Jennifer (Mark) Carlino, and Thomas and their mother Diane; his grandchildren Wyatt, Benjamin, Bethany and Annelise Eichholz, Adam and Max Dykema and Helena and Luke Dorris; his sisters and brothers Susan (Michael) Torres, Mary Baker, Eileen (Jerome) Gillis, Thomas, John (Laura), Jeannette (Ronald) Rogers, Patrice (Christopher) Monaco and Marita (John) Samuels; and his nieces and nephews Matthew Torres, Jerome and Jason Gillis, Kerry, Charles, and Patrick Eichholz, Andrew Eichholz, Katherine Wilhelm, Geoffrey Rogers, Hilary and Harrison Monaco, Laura Schneider, Stephen Utschig-Samuels, and Philip and Kathryn Samuels. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Orma Eichholz, parents-in-law Ray and Gabriela Salk, Irene Remeniuk Eichholz, and James Baker.

James loved airplanes and was a member of the EAA. He was passionate about his 1931 Ford Model A, as well as his mahogany Chris-Craft boat. James loved playing the concertina, and created many happy memories playing polkas and waltzes.

A memorial will be scheduled at a later date and time. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to AngelsGrace Hospice, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin or DaVita Brookfield Dialysis, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Condolences can be sent to www.churchandchapel.com.
