My deepest condolences to Jim's family and all his friends. What a wonderful person Jim was! A good husband, devoted father, and a great friend. I have so many fond memories, I don't know which to share. What fun my wife Hedy and I had going out to dinner with Jim and Cindy, playing cards at one another's homes, or just visiting back and forth and enjoying their company. Jim had a wonderful sense of humor, and was (as you know) not bashful to share his opinions with others. Jim liked to golf and fish, and I had many occasions to share these activities with Jim. I vividly recall fishing with Jim one opening day of trout season. We were fishing the Lehigh River near White Haven. I was fishing in a hole that was really good and I had caught my limit within the first half hour. Jim was fishing downstream from me and not doing as well. I yelled to him to come up and try the hole I was at. He agreed and was making his way along the shoreline when his boots slipped on a rock and he fell in the river over the top of his boots. If you know anything about river water on April 15th in PA, it is darned cold. Undaunted, Jim dumped the water out of his boots and continued to the hole and caught his limit within 30 minutes. What a good time we had!! Or the time we had golfing at Blue Ridge Trail one day (on more than one occasion, Cindy was kind enough to tend to the mortgage business to allow Jim to golf with me). We had both hit our drives into the fairway and were traveling in the cart down the fairway to locate them, when Jim said there's mine as we blew by it. I turned the cart a little too sharply to go back to Jim's ball and he ended up flying out of the cart and skidding 5 feet on his knees and elbows. He always said he definitely owed me one! Especially memorable are the two occasions that Jim and his grandson, Bob, (may he rest in eternal peace) and I and my grandson, Alex, played golf together at Blue Ridge Trail. I will miss you Jim. You were a good friend.

As you remember your love one, as God heals your broken hearts (Psalm 147:3), may your treasured memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength to endure.

I will miss not speaking to Jim on his pickup and delivery trips. I know everyone who knew Jim and Cindy loved them. We would like to send our condolences to all of Jim's family as we know he loved you all.

My condolences to everyone who knew Jim, I have fond memories of Jim as a co-worker, golfing partner (a sport we never mastered) and friend. From the years at Standard Brands, Nabisco, and retirement we developed a bond which can only be summed up as not communicating for extended periods, but being able to pick up just as if time never passed. I can only say that the World is much diminished by his loss.
I will miss him.

My condolences to everyone who loved Jim, especially his family. I have fond memories of Jim as Natalie's dad from high school and again as Sophie and Ian's fun-loving grandfather when they were infants and toddlers in Pennsylvania.
Sincerely,
