As fellow Milwaukee County Retiree, I send my sincere condolence to the Krause Family.
May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who fall asleep in death, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15

I just came back from woodtic acre in Lakewood where us Nelson kids enjoyed listening to Jim and Rosemary along with my parents laughter as they played pinochle for hours in our tiny cottage many years ago. I hear him now. Another lost, then found. Mary Nelson Hilton

Our condolences to Rosemary and the family. Jim was a classy guy and a great boss to work for. When Jim came to the Major Occurrence Unit as our boss, no one had really worked with him before. On his first buy bust that the DEU, (Drug Enforcement Unit) took him on, I was trying to pull a bad guy out they the driver's side window and was meeting some resistance. Suddenly another pair of hands reached in the window, grabbed the guy's collar and helped me drag the guy to the ground where I could cuff him. It was Jim and from then on out we knew he was one of us. Any one remember that the nickname we gave him was "Leadfoot"? Sorry we can't be there with you but we are in Ireland right now.
