James Neuner Obituary

James Neuner

Milwaukee - Born to eternal life on Sunday January 3, 2021, aged 81. He is survived by Rita Neuner, his loving wife of 57 years, his five children Mary (Gary) Caravella, Joan Neuner (Paul Koch), Jim Neuner, Karen (Steve) Hughes and Tom (Amy) Neuner, six grandchildren, brother Jerry Neuner.

Jim was devoted to his family, his community and his faith. He was an active member of Our Lady of Good Hope Parish, serving on the parish council and as a Trustee. He was a lifelong learner, a passionate archivist for his family and community, and a lover of all things polka.

A memorial mass and celebration of life will be held when we can safely gather in summer. See zwaskafuneral.com for full notice.

I have known Jim since the early 1990's, we met over our passion for the Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Company. Jim was one of those people that you happy to see and sincerely glad he was part of the group. Prayers to the Neuner Family.

Comfort can come by remembering and re-reading the promises given to us by our Creator/Savior/Spirit of Love. They are true. I loved the way his whole face would "smile" when he spoke. Look for that same smile of your husband, dad, grandpa in each other! Prayers for you all. Powerful to Pray to him, as now he is in that communion of saints.
