Martha Ann Neuner, 93 danced her way to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
Welcoming her into heaven are her husbands, Harold Harlamert and Fred Neuner; as well as her parents, Henry and Agnes Schenck; her siblings, Theodore, Wilbert, Louis, Norman, Stanley, Mary Agnes (Payne), Bernard, Carl, and James Schenck; daughter, Suzette Harlamert; and her grandson, Travis Rogers.
Left to cherish her generous and loving spirit, she is survived by her brother, Alvin (Connie); sister-in-law, Rose Schenck; her children, Charlene Williams (John), Connie Rogers (Rick), and Jackye Zimmerman; nine grandchildren, Michelle Wyatt (Tim), Angela Schindler, Beth Williams (Kym), Michael Zimmerman, Dustin Rogers (Charley), Renee Williams (Megan), Brandon Rogers (Andrea), Andrew Williams (Lehanna), and Chelsea Uhde; as well as 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Martha spent her life generously loving, laughing and living. She was outgoing and the life of the party. She had a passion for music, dancing, shopping and the casino. She will be remembered as a true believer in angels and miracles. She was a founding member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
She worked at L & N Railroad from 1968 to 1986 and retired from CXS after 18 years of service. She also worked for the American Red Cross in the early fifties.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the funeral home from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Ln, New Albany, IN 47150) with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
