To the O'Neill family,
My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of Mr. O'Neill (Jim). I still remember him as a very nice neighbor that lived across the street from our family. It has been many years since I had a chance to speak to any of his family. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers for comfort and healing of the pain caused by his passing.

It's hard for me to refer to Jim as "Jim". To me he was always "Dad". The best father-in-law anyone could ever ask for. He was the only Dad I have had for the past 36 years. He always treated me like one of his own daughters. In fact he always said I was his "favorite" daughter-in law. That was only the case until Sandy or Denise showed up, then of course they were also the favorite daughter-in-laws. I feel so very blessed to have been a part of his family. I find great peace knowing that now he can finally meet my Dad. I always knew they would have been great friends. Thanks for being you Dad, you will be truly missed. Love you!!!

Jim O'Neill had a wonderful life. I wish he would have lasted for another 86 years. He raised seven great kids and he and Bev had 61 short years together. Jim was special. He was one of the most positive and upbeat people I have ever met. His sense of humor was second to none and his joke and story telling skills were the best. You had to laugh even when you had heard the story or joke 10 times before. Jim loved people and they loved him back. I have been priviledged to know him for the past 42 years. I feel extremely fortunate to have married his beautiful daughter Lynn and at the same time get to spend four decades with Jim O'Neill and the O'Neill family. Thanks Jim for the memories and the legacy you left behind.
