Loving father of Christine (Wes) Slawson, Stephen (Tammy), David (Sheila) and Thomas (Lori). Dear grandfather of the late Paul, the late Joshua, Brian (Rosie), Shawn (Austin), Scott (Taylor) Andrew James, Becca, Rachel, Cali, Brett, Victoria, Bradley, Jacob, Julia and Hannah. Great grandfather of Gavin. Brother of Yvonne Papez. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Member of American Legion Post 416. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 17th at 12:30 PM at ST. ALPHONSUS CHURCH 6060 W. Loomis Rd. Greendale. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In state Friday AT CHURCH after 10:30 AM until 12:15 PM.

I have such fond memories of Jim and his family during my teen years and early adulthood. He was kind, gentle and had a wonderful sense of humor. He always treated me like a daughter. He will be greatly missed. May Christ give peace and comfort to Barbara and all the Papez family.
