James Schimp Obituary

Schimp, Dr. James A. Of Hartford. Welcomed into the eternal arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 29, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Schimp. Proud father of Pastor Jeff (Becky) Schimp, Jamie (Pastor Eldon) Featheringill, Brian "BJ" (Marcia) Schimp, Dr. David (Nancy) Schimp and Lindy (Matt) Fiste. Loving grandpa to 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, May 6, 2016 from 4:00-8:00PM. A celebration of Dr. Schimp's life will be held at Glacier Hills Bible Church (meeting at Central Middle School), Saturday May 7, 2016 at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glacier Hills Bible Church (Hartford, WI), Grace Bible College (Wyoming, MI), Northern Grace Youth Camp (Gillett, WI) or the Door County Land Trust. Dr. Schimp ran the Schimp Office of Chiropractic in Hartford for over 50 years.

Deep regards to Dr Schimps family. Our family have known him since the 70's, we were his patients but held him in such heartfelt trust in his ability to help us feel better.. & We will miss him and wish his family comfort in these difficult days....

My deepest sympathy, I'm a cousin-in-law of James Schimp. My father was Paul Markiewicz, we use to have lots of fun in Tomahawk.
