I have many fond memories of my Uncle Jim and Aunt Debs visiting us and delighting all of us as kids at countless family gatherings and holiday celebrations. I regret so deeply that in these waning years - what has been the twilight of Jim's earthly, physical life - I never allowed myself the opportunity to share their company again as an adult; especially as a SAVED adult these last several years. I have thoughtlessly deprived myself of the love and fellowship of a wonderful man who ultimately was my brother in Christ and never even got to know it. I regret that bitterly, and though I know I and only I am accountable for the lapse in our relationship and that I must endure that burden, I am also overjoyed. I am elated! Now, that sweet, mellow, unfalteringly gregarious man that I loved seeing as a little boy is in the throes of a rapture - an exuberant, perfect, infallible exultation - that none of us left in his wake can begin to even conceive of from our present bondage here in these tragically fallible, imperfect, and temporal bodies. My Uncle Jim was a loved man, of that there can be no doubt amongst any who came to know him for any reason over the course of his eight-plus decades here on earth. But all of the love of every single one of us combined and then added to itself ten-fold could not begin to compare to the infinite and perfect love that Jesus Christ - the ONLY perfect One ever to exist, who died a martyr's death so that Jim could know TRUE freedom on this day - is lavishing upon his loyal servant in his perfect new home, for time imemmorial. And Aunt Debs, no matter what you're feeling at this time of trial, this first time in your wedded life without the mate with whom you've exemplified loyalty to us for all these years: read these words and take solace in their truth, for I've come to know that they are just that. I know them to be so not because they're what I think or hope, but because they are God's promise to us all as believers. At long last, he has been called to begin his REAL life. If that's not a legacy to hang your hat upon, I don't know what is. I love you and may God bless you both eternally.

My sympathy to the family. I lived on 11th street when the family lived on 10th. It's been a long time but still remember some of the good times we had.

May God hold dearly this man who did such a wonderful job with his wife raising their daughter who is my son's music teacher. My life has been wonderfully touched by her work, and therefore by his love, and I am grateful. My prayers to you in this difficult time.
