Jane Meyers Obituary

Meyers, Jane Welton 78, of Laguna Nigel, CA and Pewaukee, WI, beloved wife of 54 years of John E. Meyers. Loving mother of Dave (Liz) and Ken (Kris). Grandmother to John, Kate, Maggie, Michael and Anna. Dear sister of Ralph Welton; sister-in-law to Dr. Jeremy (Mary) Meyers. She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Hazel (nee Farr) of Shorewood. A lifelong lover of books and libraries, she attended Shorewood High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she served as president of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. She enjoyed sailing, gardening and was a devoted volunteer at the Mission Viejo Library, the League of Women Voters, various Literacy Councils and AAUW. Services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 11:00 AM, at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Mission Viejo Library, Friends Tribute Gift, 100 Civic Center Drive, Mission Viejo, CA 92691 or www.cmvl.org.

Dave, Liz, John, Kate, Maggie... I so enjoyed Jane's company during her visits to your home. What a wonderful woman to have raised such great sons! I know her death has left a hole in your hearts...my condolences.

Dear Ken, Kris, Michael, Anna and entire family,
We will miss and remember your mother and grandmother always. She was a wonderful person and friend. We are sorry that we can not be with all of you on Saturday but you are in our prayers and thoughts.
