Jane Williams Obituary

Williams, Jane (Nee Harris) Of Waukesha, passed away in the morning hours of Friday, October 15, 2010, at her home surrounded by family. She was 92 years old. Jane was born in Elkhorn, WI on October 11, 1918, a daughter of the late Robert Bruce and Gertrude (Desing) Harris. A graduate of Carlton College, Jane was later married to Warren C. Williams and together they raised a son and daughter. Jane was a social member for many years of Merrill Hills Country Club and enjoyed fishing and gardening. She was also an avid bridge player, however her greatest joy was time spent with family. She will be sadly missed. Jane is survived by her son, Douglas Williams of Milwaukee, WI and her daughter Sally Williams of Waukesha. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren David and Pamela Kososki, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Warren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010, at 1 PM, at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Avenue, Waukesha, WI. The Reverend Scott Leannah will be officiating.
