Doc K was such an inspiration to me while at HRC. I almost viewed him as a father figure. He was always the utmost professional...kind and loving to help those under the disease of addiction. I was truly blessed to know him. May God's love surround those whom grieve his loss.

I met and worked with Jay in 1990 at the West Allis hospital. I had the wonderful opportunity to introduce him as a member of our staff, to the community of other mental health professionals. Jay was a sincere and honest addiction specialist who made it easy to understand the roads of addictions and the pathway to treatment. His numerous presentations to the public helped families and individuals learn how to reach out and to seek help for themselves. He readily made himself available to do television and radio interviews to teach others about addiction and mental health. I got to know him as a compassionate person without judgment and bias.
Jay will be missed by so many. "Thank you for your endless energy, your motivation to help others and compassion for all whose lives you touched".

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Kasner, for several years, at the Herrington Recovery Center in Oconomowoc. He not only offered his kindness, caring and compassion to all of his patients, but he did the same with those that worked with him. He will truly be missed. My deepest sympathies go out to his family.

I was a nurse who worked at Kettle Moraine Hospital with Dr J. We were both in recovery and dedicated to helping others find their way. I remember him telling me that when he came home from treatment, his wife called it "charm school". Like many of us, he apparently was a very different person when active in addiction. I admired and respected him and his medical treatment. I'm sure Dr Bob and Bill W are honored to meet him. God bless you Dr J.
