Susie was the most beautiful, elegant lady. I loved visiting with her during my walks on Lexington Ave. She would lovingly invite me into her home. She loved my cooking especially the eggplant masala. Susie will always ask me, what I am upto about my culinary actviites, travel, family and she will also give me advice. She gave some of her knit pads. When I think of her I will hold the knit pads close to my face. Always dressed in her best. She will be an angel for me. Once when my husband and I were walking she invited us and gave us a peach pie. It was the best.
Susie, I will never forget your kindness, love and care for me. You will always be remembered. I was away I just found out about Susie's passing. Sweet, tender, loving Susie you will be in my heart forever. Love you dearly.

Susie had an open porch policy in good weather. If you walked past her house, she'd invite you to join her in conversation, and it was always interesting. I loved to hear her beautiful voice as she told us stories of earlier times. My daughter Helen and I would bring strawberries we picked at a farm, and Susie would give us some rhubarb. We will miss her very much, and we hold Jane and her family in our prayers. We're sorry for your loss.
