Jeffrey Bachman Obituary

Bachman, Jeffrey Michael March 23, 1952 – January 30, 2008. On January 30, Jeffrey passed peacefully from this life, surrounded by his family in Alton, IL. He was preceded in death by his father Howard, and grandparents Francis and Jack Bennett, and Rose and Joe Bachman. Jeff loved his art, cats, wild birds, music, his plants, and his family and friends. Many times his grandfather Jack called him the "boy with the golden arm"; he had an amazing knack for taking things apart and fixing them. Along with his skills, he had an inventive and creative mind. Jeff will be missed by his mother Elaine, Naomi and Joseph (sister and brother-in-law), Lisa and Bob (sister and brother-in-law), Noah and Phoebe (nephew and niece), his best friend Jed Peeler, and the many friends he made along his way in this world. In the last months of his life, Jeff was lovingly cared for by his sister, Lisa and brother-in-law, Bob. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Jeff's name to: Social Service & Patient Care, Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation; Mail Stop 90-94-206; St. Louis, MO 63110
