Just a note saying I often have fond memories of Jeff and the Kubatzki. It was always a blast to hang out with Jeff and see his family. I was just a little kid, but Jeff was one of my first neighborhood friends. I think we became friends when we were in kindergarten together. Jeff was a good friend and a good man. God rest his soul. He may be gone, but found memories I have, along with many of his other friends and family, still live.
Peace, Rick

Kathe, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to get to know Jeff when he was here in Az. He was such a kind and warm hearted man. The kids just loved to see him when he was here. They were so excited to see him in Oct. and introduce him to Flash. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Jeff's family. We are so sorry for your loss.

What a SHOCK Oh My God! I am so sorry to hear this and my sympathies go to all of the Kubatzki family. I am also sorry to say that I can not make it to the funeral, I already have a commitment on Saturday that I can't reschedule. You are all in my thoughts and prayers! I'll never forget the time when Jeff and Tommy came up north to visit us in Medford, and with my brother George and Joe had a fun time hunting Racoons. I think the were racoons. He brings a smile to my face!

Jeff ,

None of us will ever forget the mischievous twinkle in your eye and the smile on your face. They were always a clear sign that you were thinking of something that would make us laugh. Most importantly, we will always remember your heart of gold….ready to help, never asking for anything in return (except perhaps a cold beer or two). Thanks for all the great memories….you will keep us reminiscing and laughing for years to come. Rest in peace, we will miss you.

Jeff,

We became friends as young high school students and shared many laughs and adventures together with Tom and all our other buddies on our walks to Hamilton each morning. You were there for me on many occasions and I always knew you were a friend I could count on. You will be missed by many people: your family, your friends and your co-workers and that, perhaps, may be one of the best legacies one could ever hope to leave behind.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. An unforgettable character - that was Jeff. I met Jeff in middle school - he was one of the few people who could make me laugh 'til it hurt. His own laugh was so infectious - you couldn't help but join in! I have happy memories of tackle football (without pads), road trips, rafting, and lots of jokes. You knew you were living when you spent time with Jeff. Rest well, old friend.

We are Jeffs neighbors at his cottage on Lake Puckaway. When we moved there Jeff was the first one to come over and lend a helping hand, ( in which he ended up doing countless times). He so looked forward to his weekends at the cottage. We had many good weekends up there, and he will be sorely missed by all his neighbors on Jolin Road. Rest in peace our good friend... Stu and Sam

He so much looked forward to the weekends at his cottage and we always looked forward to having our weekend get togethers. He so enjoyed this summer relaxing and not having to "go to work". Rest in peace my friend, you will be sorely missed by all of us on Jolin Road.

Jeff was a loving and devoted companion (or as he called himself "House Boy) to my dear childhood friend Kathe. My husband and I met him last spring for the first time in AZ and could immediately see why they clicked. It was clear how he felt about Kathe and we were so so so very happy for her and for them. Jeff is gone way too soon. All you can ask is "why"? My heart goes out to you, Kathe, and to Jeff's son and family. God Bless Jeff and all of you. Love, Anne (N)
