Kleczka Family,

My sincerest sympathies on the loss of your dad. Him and I did some great work over at Wood National Cemetery. He was truly a genuine person who people trusted to help them and he delivered each and every time. You have a great deal to be proud of as a family and I can see his hand in the quality of indivduals his children have become!

Jay, Donna & Jeff,
I was shocked to read of your Dad's passing. I'm so very sorry. My grandpa and your dad were in the Lions Club together. When my grandpa passed away in 1980 he took very good care of my grandma and mom during the planning of his funeral. His mix of empathy and professionalism are traits that my grandma still talks about 28 years later. Again, I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Michelle Griffith

Dear Mrs. Kleczka, Debbie, Jay, Jeff and Donna...

I was very saddened to hear of Mr. Kleczka's passing. Ever since I was young, I fondly remember him as a very kind and gentle person and always with a smile.

He was such a good man and helped so many in our community for a very long time. I'm sure that he has already heard the welcome words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant. Enter now into the joy of thy Lord."

January 11, 2009

To the entire Kleczka family, you have my deepest sympathy. I have nothing but kind memories of Jerry. Not only from all the years of the many church activities at St. Veronica's, but most important to me, for his kindness and caring in handling the funeral of my father, George A. DeGrace in 1995.

He was a man of great compassion, and he always seemed to have a smile on his face. He will be missed, and my prayers are with you.

Jeff and family,

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Your dad's longevity after his transplant gave my father more hope after his own transplant. He was proof that a lung transplant can last more than the typical 3-5 years and include quality rather than just existence.

Even though our dads didn't really know each other back when we were in grade school together, their "miracles" brought them to become friends a few years ago. I am thankful for your dad's inspiration on my dad.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss...
The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. Jerry was a great man. Kind and understanding. He always had the right thing to say and do. He helped my family when my grandfathers passed the same year. He was very kind when my Aunt passed many years later at a sudden time. It was a most difficlut time for my whole family. A few years later Jerry was there for us again when my Grandmothers passed a few months apart from each again. Jerry was that kind smile when we needed it most. It was nice to have a friend to help you through. He was always there at any time just to answer ANY questions or for support. Have comfort in knowing he is at peace. Our deepest sympathies,

Jay and the entire Kleczka family, please accept our condolences in the loss of your husband, father and friend. Jerry was one of a kind. I remember how he helped so much when my mother passed in 1985, I was only 15 and he took great steps to make sure that everything was just right and that especially I felt comfortable with things, again in 2004 when my father Jerry died, he again took every necessary step to help my family get through that terrible time, when I didn't know what to do as my dad's death was quite unexpected. He was also a good friend of my father's and remembered at that time the good times they had playing cribbage. Jerry also helped with numerous other family funerals over the past 25 years and we have always been greatful. Our family will keep you in our prayers. God Bless all of you. Julie & Glen Taylor

January 7, 2009

Jay, Jeff & Family,
Please accept our sincere sympathy. Your Dad was such a wonderful man and was beloved and highly regarded by so many.
My mom, Dar Roark, has been fighting her own fight for slightly longer than Jerry battled his. I know that she and Jerry shared a mutual respect for one another and she asked me to send her sympathy as well.
My husband, Glen, has many fond memories of Jerry from the days when Glen tended bar at DeMarinis.
I also will remember Jerry fondly in the experiences that I had with him in my job at St. Augustine Parish. He's been such a help and comfort not only to my family, but to so many of our parishioners.
Jerry was the top in his profession, but more importantly he will be remembered as a genuine, caring and compassionate man.
While a great loss to his family and his community, we are grateful that his pain has ended and we know that he is enjoying his just reward with our Heavenly Father.

Dear Kleczka's

We at Unity are saddened to hear about Jerry's death. He has kindly and faithfully guided so many from Unity as they have mourned loved ones. He will be missed.

When I first came to Unity he welcomed me graciously. During one the first funerals, as we traveled from the funeral home to the cemetery, he gave me a great history lesson of Bay View.

We at Unity will pray for you all as you mourn. We pray that you will be comforted by the promise of everlasting life in God.

Dear Mrs. Kleczka and Family,
We are very sorry to learn of the passing of Mr. Kleczka. He helped us through the funerals of three family members with such compassion, comfort and kindness. He went out of his way to help another relative make pre-planning funeral arrangements and conducted the funeral of another relative of ours when he had his own health problems and we did not know about his transplant at that time. Later we had Jeff take care of another loved ones funeral and our parents. We have the upmost respect and greatfulness to him and for the family funeral business he headed. You and all of the Kleczka family are in our hearts and prayers and may such a good man now rest in peace in the arms of our Lord Jesus.
With Our Sincere Sympathy,

Dear Mrs. Kleczka & family:
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, dad and grandpa. No matter what the age or circumstance, it is always difficult to say that final goodbye.
Our father passed away in 1977 at age 54. It was such a terrible loss. Jerry helped our family with the funeral, extending genuine comfort and guidance. Our mom was a devastated widow who was blessed by Jerry's help.
Eight short years later our mom passed away and once again Jerry and his staff helped us through. There have been many other deaths of family members, neighbors and friends that were eased by the expertise & compassion of Jerry and his staff.
He has been a mainstay of comfort to many, many people over the years and exemplified the best in his profession. We are forever grateful.
And now it is your family that must bid goodbye to someone so loved and admired. Our hearts ache for and with you. May all the godly gifts Jerry bestowed through dedicated service be returned to you at this time one hundredfold.
Cling to the Truth of God's word: "Love IS Stronger Than Death." May God's capable arms hold you close to His heart, right where Jerry rests now in perfect peace.

Dear Marianne, Debbie, Jay, Donna, Jeff and Your Entire Family,

We are so terribly sorry Jerry lost his
very courageous battle, and we so deeply feel your loss.

We've been friends for over thirty years...shared many good times... dinners, cruises and what a pleasure it was to be in his company.
Jerry had style and grace and he knew how to treat people graciously and repectfully...he was always upbeat and smiling. Most of all, Jerry was a great husband, father and our very good friend.

We know he is at peace now, and that is our only consolation.

We will keep you all deeply in our thoughts and prayers and wish we weren't so far away.

Love always,

Judy & Ray Kunda
