Jerome Metcalfe Obituary

67 of Lahaina, Maui, died on March 29, 2005 at his residence. He was born April 24, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was known in Butler, Wisconsin for owning and operating Sentry Foods until his move to Maui where he owned The Rusty Harpoon, Kahului Ale House and Hawaiian Photo Arts. He is survived by his sons: Jerome Vernon Metcalfe, Scott Thomas Metcalfe, Chad Tyler Metcalfe and Greg Harrison Levine; daughters: Tonia Marie (Kevin) Finbraaten and Suzzette Rene' Metcalfe; grandchildren: Noel Hallfeld Albiniak, Dylan Kia Metcalfe and Hanna Marie Finbraaten.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Ballard Family Mortuary with a service at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Maui Food Bank at (808) 877-4357. Scattering of ashes to reunite Jerome with his beloved wife Sharon Marie Metcalfe (1990) will be held on April 24, 2005. Celebration of Life to follow at 12 pm at the King Kamehameha Club House.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Metcalfe family. Jerome was bigger than life in many ways and was always a very gracious man to us. The Daiquiri Capital of the World has lost it's King, but his memory will live on.
