I will never forget Auntie Joanie and Uncle Jerre! I took this picture in 2005. They were such happy people with infectious smiles!

Uncle Jerre and Auntie Joan were very special people. My siblings and I were blessed to have them in our lives. They were fun to be around, and they had the unique ability to face life with real joy, energy, and humor. Uncle Jerre had a kind and good heart. I will always think of him with his beloved dogs. He had an amazing bond with each of them. He has actually been the patriarch of our family for a long time, and we will all miss him.

Rest in peace, my dear Godfather. I will always love you.

I have many great memories of Gerry, Al and Mike up at the deer cabin. the one that stands out is the time Gerry shot two deer with one shot. Gerry and Al's name came up this year and I am sure we will continue to bring up these two great hunters and good friends
