Dear Traxlers, Although we have grown apart over the decades, I have nothing but wonderful memories of all of you. I remember my cousin Jerry having his business next to the tavern when I was a kid. I will always remember him as a kind, gentle and good natured gentleman. I just heard of Jerry's passing from my folks and wanted to express my sympathy and let you know you are all in my thoughts. Dear Jeanne, John and Ruth and extended family --
For some reason I keep thinking of the angled 2nd floor rooms at Uncle Izzy's and Aunt Annie's home in Milwaukee at a family picnic. I think of birthday's sharing cake at your home. I remember the duplex Aunt Annie and Aunt Rae shared for many years. Anytime the family had an event, everyone was there. Those days are long gone but still very strong memories for me. When I think of Jerome, I can see his smile and hear a quiet laugh and of course his kindness and gentle ways. I was thrilled when Annette/David and Ruth/Jerome were able to attend 2 of my kids bar/bat mitzvahs. I wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts today. Much love - Susan (Glicksman) Cera
