Jodi M. Kleibel, nee Orlando, of Cedarburg, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at age 51. She was born December 4, 1967 in Silver Spring, Maryland to Frederick and Caryl Orlando. Jodi married Christopher Kleibel on July 15, 1995. Jodi was a devoted kindergarten teacher to hundreds of children whose first school experience was in her classroom at McLane Elementary in West Bend, where she taught for 29 years. Though she had no children of her own, her home was always filled with her students' photos and drawings. After a liver transplant in 2004, Jodi expressed her renewed joy in life through volunteer work with the Wisconsin Organ Donor Network. Every day was a gift to Jodi. Jodi is survived by her husband Christopher, her parents, sisters Jill Orlando Hart and Jamee Orlando LeMonds, and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family funeral service will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held for all who knew and loved Jodi on Sunday, September 15, from 1-4 pm at The Watermark at Shully's, 146 Green Bay Road, Thiensville 53092. Jodi's expressed wish was for friends who would like to honor her legacy as an educator please bring a backpack filled with school supplies, which will then be donated to needy kindergarten children. Additionally, a scholarship in Jodi's name has been established for students of McLane Elementary School in West Bend. Donations may be made to: West Bend Columns Scholarship Program, P.O. Jodi was all three of my children's Kindergarten teacher. She was an amazing influence on each of their lives, as she was for many children and their families. Her kindness and warmth made each day of school so special for them and they truly loved her. I was blessed to have taught next door to Jodi for the last two years she was here at McLane. Her friendship has meant so very much to me. She was so kind and helpful from the first day I moved here and I will forever be grateful to her for all she did for me! Jodi's family is in my thoughts and prayers. I really miss her warmth, laughter, caring, loving kindness. You are in my heart, Jodi!

Jodi was my kindergarten teacher and one with whom I have some of the best memories. She was an amazing educator and cared so deeply for her students - current and former. She will be greatly missed and I certainly would not be the person I am today without her.

Jodi was my daughter's kindergarten teacher and her first inspiration. 20 years later, she is now a teacher herself (in no small part thanks to her wonderful kindergarten experience) and still remained in touch with her. She will be greatly missed and the world lost a great teacher. Our condolences go out to her family, friends, and many former students who loved her.

Jodi was my kindergarten teacher back in 1996. As a senior in high school, I had the honor to return and have my first experience working with students. She is the reason I love school, why I became a teacher, and why I work hard everyday to help my own kindergarten students. I just began my 6th year of teaching kindergarten and I will make sure her impact will not end with her. I will continue to pass her love along for years to come.

My son had Jodi as a teacher 19yrs ago and I always helped in her classroom for a long time after. She is such an inspiration to all of us and to our son. He just became a staff Sargent in honor of jodi. He knew that she would be so very proud of him!!! My son loved her so much!!! And she loved seeing how much he changed and has accomplished in his life. He messaged me and said mom this last accomplishment was for Mrs. Kliebel!!! Thank you Jodi for all you have done in our lives!!! You will never be forgotten and forever in our hearts!!! We love you always
