John Barber Obituary
Brookfield - Passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2021 at age 39. Devoted husband of Krista (nee Swiecichowski) for 6 years. Amazing and adoring Daddy of Victoria. Brother and best friend of Mike (Staycie) Olejniczak and Godfather of Quinn Olejniczak. Son of Karen Pekrul and John Barber. Foster son of the late Ken and Dolores Banaszak. Foster brother of Kim Banaszak. Grandson of Robert and Judith Pekrul. Dear nephew of Kerry (Robb) Neusen. Beloved son-in-law of David and Jacki Swiecichowski. Brother-in-law of Shari (Sam) Fettig and Keri (Justin) Gerlach. Also loved and will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and his faithful dogs Buster and Sweetie Belle.
John was a Certified Arborist who worked for the Milwaukee County Parks Forestry Department. He enjoyed creating furniture with his woodworking skills, loved to cook for his family and friends, enjoyed the great outdoors, and was an all-around handyman. He was deeply religious and found peace and comfort within the Bible's words. John was a devoted husband and father who cherished his family above all else. John will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 7 from 3-6:45pm. Funeral Service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family for Victoria's Educational Fund.

Krista, as nieghbors behind you we got to see all of Johns creations. That beautiful house he built for your daughter made me cry when I saw it all together. He was always willing to help us even if Mark was stubborn. He would laugh at me telling at the dogs daily. He was kind and his eyes were honest. Watching him play with his daughter after work spoke volumes of his love for both you girls. Please know we are here. Please come over for anything. Accept our late condolences and may God bring you peace in this process of loss.

What a great guy!! An original, hilarious, tough, witty, fearless, adventurous, brave, trustworthy, fun, understanding, wise, compassionate. These are just a few of the things that come to mind when thinking about our friendship. My heart is broke for your family, your wonderful family. What a freakin ride this life is. Peace John, peace and love to your family. See you when we get there Bud. You were a great man on this earth you did your creator proud!!!! You did great in our blacksmith class. I real natural!!!!

Krista and Victoria, I am heartbroken for you both and I cannot imagine what you are going through. John was an amazing man, and I loved watching him dote on Victoria. He always included her in things and stopped work to goof off with her. He was such a kind and giving man and he was beloved by all of us who knew him.
