I just renewed this guest book, dad, at the "forever" price. I figured it was fitting that this will always be here on the web.
still miss you... every day.

I miss his deep booming voice and cheer for everyone that met him. For me, it was various online games. I met him through Hearthguard and the web-page where he and others helped many. He always had an affinity for weapons and armor of every type fitted to (his) truly sexy feminine figure as Valky. Heroine extreme. We were the Four musketeers - Valky, Tusky, Trufox and me. You will be remembered as long as I keep you in my heart, my friend.

I met John in the mid 1960's through music and Chuck Spransy. John and I both liked 12 string guitars and he graciously let me play his Rickenbacker a few times. I haven't seen him in many years and I'm sorry to hear he passed away.

My deep condolences go out to you all. I knew John when we with many others played an online game. We remained friends and in contact through out the years. He was a wonderful and loving man, who will always have a special place in my heart. I miss his voice and laugh. He was always there to help you with anything you needed, he was the true definition of a friend. I love you John, I will have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

John was my neighbor across the hall. I first met him when I tried the self cleaning oven, filled the bldg with smoke and couldn't shut it off. John called the Fire Department when all the smoke alarms went off. That was 5yrs ago he loved to give me grief about it every now and then. John was the best neighbor anyone could have. I will surely miss him. God Bless John, his family and friends.

I knew John when we worked together as Police Officers for the Milwaukee Railroad, but I lost track of him after the Road closed, until now. I'm truly sorry to hear of his passing and I wish his family well.

I was a co-worker of John's for several years. He was a quiet man but a good friend. His presence will truly be missed at MATC. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family.

To John's family:
My deep condolences go out to you all. I was one of John's best friends from 1965 through 1968. I'll always remember him sitting in his bedroom strumming that beautiful Rickenbacher 12 string (same guitar as his hero, John Lennon) and planning our future as ROCK STARS!
We shared good times double dating, playing a few frat party gigs for $15 and all the free beer you could drink, and just hanging out at Lake Park Pharmacy on Downer Avenue.
When he wasn't drawing knights dressed in full armour, he was making pencil drawings of band equipment, featuring a full drum set to my exact specification(Rodgers, with Zildjian cymbals) and Vox amps just like the Beatles used.
He was a great companion, and together with our friend Bela Meszaros (our lead guitarist) we had the world by the tail, as only 3 teens with big dreams and lots of energy could in the mid 1960s.
I remember his dad "Big Sy" always saying, (quote) "pretty cool, big daddy" as we entered their house with our Beatle cut hair. And those Beatle boots of his! I never saw him wear anything but. Man, those were some good times, made extra special in his company.
God bless you, John (or, JON, as he liked to spell it in those days); my life has been better having known you and being able to call you my best friend!

Chuck Spransy (aka "Sticks") of Newberry Blvd.

To Mike and John's family, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of John. I remember growing up with Mike as Mike's school mate and friend. I mostly remember when John got his first electric guitar and taught himself to play Beatles songs. I also remember his dad loudly clearing his throat from the living room couch to make his practicing stop. I will keep John in my thoughts and prayers.
