John Chelstowski Obituary

John Chelstowski

It is with great sorrow and grief that family and friends mourn the death of John Chelstowski on July 2, 2021 after a short illness. The youngest of seven children, John was born Jan 27, 1961 in Milwaukee to Marion and Rose Marie Chelstowski.

John grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from Pulaski High School, class of 1979. In the sports arena he rooted for both the Packers and Brewers. John was a boxer and at one time considered becoming a professional. Fishing was his passion and he loved ice fishing. John served a short time in the Coast Guard reserve.

John was a loving, caring, and generous person giving freely of his time and energy to help any person in need. He was good natured, fun to be around, smiling, always brightening up the lives of those around him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Marion and Rose who immigrated to America after WW II, both of whom survived the Holocaust, and one brother, Stanley.
