Karen (Dretzka) and Bob Walter
November 5, 2005
Bob and I extend our sympathy to John's siblings and their families. My last tour of Dretzka's Department Store was given by John two summers ago. What a trip back in time! I always loved buying new fabrics and having Grandpa Frank measure my feet in the x-ray machine. The store was the family gathering place. Margaret & Jack took me to the hospital the night my father died. I will always remember their kindness. And John was always giving Mary Alice and me some older brother advice when I visited at their house. Great parents, Aunt Edna and Uncle Al, always had time for the family. John is home once again with his wonderful parents. Love, Karen

Many thanks to Uncle John for providing first employment at "the store" in the company of Lucy, Jo and Charlotte.
