John Hussinger Obituary
Born to Eternal Life on Sunday, December 6,2020 at the age 89. Loving and devoted husband of 63 years to Patricia (nee Schuster) who passed away April 22, 2018. Beloved father of Lori (Ronald) Lange and Jeffrey Hussinger. Proud Grandpa of Travis (Gretchen) Lange. Proceeded in death by his sister, Ruth (Richard) Hoge. Further survived by other family members and friends.
He worked hard his whole life for his family, beginning with building the family home where he lived for 60 years with Pat. He also built the family cottage up North over one weekend. John and Pat enjoyed decades of weekends at the cottage and extended stays once he retired. They especially loved sitting on the pier watching sunsets and the loons.
Family meant everything to him. He was a selfless man, generous with his time and many talents, never expecting anything in return. His unique humor made our lives much richer and will be greatly missed. Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 12:30 PM with Funeral Service at 1:30 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 13365 W. Hampton Rd., Brookfield. Entombment will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
A Celebration of Life is planned for later in 2021 for those unable to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of John Hussinger to the Heart Fund at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center (give.aurora.org, or phone 877-460-8730) would be appreciated.
