I'm so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of playing backgammon with him on some of my visits with the Kamps family. He was a fascinating and kind person.

What a wonderful (and accurate) portrayal of my cousin Johnnie. He was the inspiration for my attempts at humor (set a high bar), acted as though he was always glad to see me, was my grandmother's condolence and war hero, and is one off my fondest memories. The meaning of family.

My love and condolences to Aunt Ruth, Fred, Alice, John G., Tory and all our family. I treasure all my memories of Uncle John, including fishing excursions and boat rides at Clear Lake, crazy tractor rides at Genesee Depot, his visits to the "kids table" at Thanksgiving and the way he held my hand when my dad died.

Our most heartfelt condolences to you and your family, Alice. Your dad sounds like the dad every child wishes they had. He left you with the best gift he could ever give - golden memories and a lifetime of happiness. Take care, the Ciske family.
