John Ladwig Obituary

Ladwig, John R. "Jack" Age 79. Born into Eternal Life on Monday, March 5, 2012. Cherished father of John Ladwig and Jolene (Andy) Eyrise. Loving grandfather of Brandon Werner and Joshua Ladwig. Dear brother of Marie (Jerry) Stern, Richard (Joan) Ladwig and James (Mary) Ladwig. Preceded in death by his parents William and Theresa, two sons Jeffrey and Jay, brother Junior, sister Winnie and brother-in-law Jim Jones. Further survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. "I HAD A GREAT LIFE!" Jack served four years in the US Navy during the Korean War. He then attended the Colorado School of Trades for Gunsmithing, which became his passion. He worked at Flintrop Arms for 35 years and relocated to Badger Guns & Ammo where he retired. Jack Ladwig Professional Gunsmithing was known for detailed craftsmanship throughout the state. He was an avid outdoorsman and his love for life and family showed in all he did. He will be dearly missed, but never far away from our hearts. The family would like to thank the staff at Angel's Grace Hospice for their caring and compassionate hearts. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Angel's Grace Hospice. Visitation is Wednesday, March 14, from 10:00-11:45AM at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16000 W. National Avenue, New Berlin.
