Since I live out of town, it took this long for me to learn that John died last Fall. Even though we generally had opposite opinions on every possible topic you can imagine, my father and I enjoyed meeting him in his shop over a 30-year period ('86-'16). Last contact was a phone call around SEP 17, and he did not let on anything was seriously wrong. He was certainly the most honest dealer one could hope to discover. He is missed.

I will miss our topical discussions at the restaurant and in his shop. John always had an interesting outlook an many subjects that I often took to heart. We always enjoyed discussing world politics and religion, subjects that others shy away from. I always looked forward to seeing John and I will miss him and his outlook on life. I am sad to see him go but unfortunately we all have that appointment with death that we cannot elude.
