When I think of John, I think of his loving family and I can only pray that they have found a bit of peace knowing and believing that John is in His loving care and he is loving all from above peacefully.
Please give someone you know or maybe you don't know an encouraging touch, smile, or hug to let them know they matter and someone cares. Peace

Dear Pat, Laura, and Family ~

We haven't been in contact for decades but my St. Adalbert's "family" is frequently in my thoughts. Even though I live so far away, I still read the newspaper online and that is where I sadly read about your son. I know that words will not ease your immeasurable pain yet I still wanted to express my deepest sympathy to each of you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure that you cherished John and, for this, he will always remain in your hearts. Look up at the sky tonight. He is the brightest star shining his love back to you.

Dear Pat, Laura and Family,
Mary Mueller called me today to let me know about John's death. I wish that I could be there for the funeral however I am unable to do so. I have many fond memories of John at St. A's. His smile and "Good Morning Sister" and the gift of who he was were brought to mind as I prayed for him today. Be assured that all of you are remembered in my prayers. I ask God's blessings upon you all. He gave John to you as a GIFT 24 years ago. You raised him as best you could and now it is time to return him to God. It won't be easy, but know that God is walking with you through this time.

Our hearts goes out to you with the deepest of sympathy. Not having any children ourselves, we cannot begin to imagine your pain and loss. At a time like this we know it is hard to think about and remember all the good times that we have had over the years as best of friends. You know there were many. It is also times like this that we would give back all those good times in order to heal your pain. Sometimes life just isn’t fair, but we must continue. We are thinking of you and your family in this time of loss.
