Melissa, I never met you or Bridgette, but I wanted you to know how much Jon loved you.
I worked with him when he consulted in Sioux City IA. I considered him a friend and mentor. His dog, Hunter, came to live with my family before finding his forever home, with Jon's blessing of course.
The memory I wanted to share with you was his joy and pride when he picked out a necklace for Bridgette with her name on it during one of his trips. He was glowing! And could not stop talking about how wonderful she was and then he shared memories of you and how you met, your wedding, and when you were pregnant. I think he always was missing you two as soon as he left for any of his trips to Iowa.
I dont know how or why Jon is gone so soon, but I know he made a big impression on my life and I will never forget his smile, humor, and how much love and joy his family brought him.
I'm praying you have found comfort and peace.

It's been two years now my friend. Not being able to see you around town or to have the conversations we used to have still pains me to this day. The day I come to Valhalla and cross Fidlers Green will be a good day if you are there to greet me. But until that day I will continue to miss you and mourn your passing. Mrs Brandt and Bridgette, if either of you need anything please fell free to reach out. I hope you both are well and the pain from such a great loss has subsided. Take care and God bless.

You were such an special person to have known. You will be missed by all who had the privilege to have shared a day on a hunt with you. Thank you for being my friend and sharing those special moments. When you see Hubert give him a hug from me. You were both the best dam hunters and friend that any man could have had.

I worked with Jon at Midas. He was a very good man. His work ethic was great as was his integrity. He was smart and had good judgement. People like him and liked working for him. He will be missed by many.

Jon was my boss at Car-X and again at Midas. He was easily the best boss I ever had. We only lived a mile apart and would still talk often. I spoke with him for an hour only two weeks ago. I will very much miss my neighbor, my mentor and my friend. Rest in peace my friend.
