Lynn Frigge
November 11, 2020
Hi, My name is Lynn Schmitt Frigge, eldest daughter of Chester Schmitt (now deceased) an employee of Ronald P. Cerwin, both whom worked together hand in hand at American Motors and became very good friends. I was a girlfriend of Ron’s in 1983. My father, Chester introduced myself to Ron. Happy I met him. Nice man, and I understand he was very well liked at American Motors. I know that both my parents thought the world of Ron and felt very bad when the relationship ended. My deepest sympathy to Ron and the family of Josephine Cerwin.
Please remember to give your wife, husband, children, any loved ones a hug. One never knows just like that in a brief moment a loved one is taken away FOREVER. Death is a real void. I lost my very best friend and husband of 30 years. I met him in 1986. I had a bad first marriage, and Dick (my husband) restored faith in me that there are still a lot of good men out there. (I am referring to you Ron also). Dick passed away August 7, 2020. No one knows just how much I miss him. I will admire, miss him and love him forever. He was man of great inner strength, a big heart of gold, and so much compassion for his fellow man. God bless you, Dick. Those 34 years went so fast because the two of us had such a wonderful relationship. I used to call him my boyfriend. He was in a nursing home out of state when he died and due to the Corona Virus I was able to say good bye to him AFTER he died. I have him numerous hugs, talked to him, left the funeral home and went back numerous to say “good bye” to a man who I will adore forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you Ron and all of your family.
My very best to Ron always,
Lynn
